Successfully represented the architect in the landmark decision of MCST Plan No 3322 v Mer Vue Developments Pte Ltd & Ors  2 SLR 793, in which the High Court decided for the first time that the architect can rely on the independent contractor defence. The decision was recently upheld by the Court of Appeal.

USD315 million borrowing by Miclyn Express Offshore secured by a fleet of about 100 vessels flagged across 5 different jurisdictions - Lead shipping counsel for DBS Bank Ltd. The vessels also served to secure SGD200 million senior secured guaranteed bonds issued in connection with the delisting of Miclyn Express Offshore Limited from the Australia stock exchange.
