DR. THIO SU MIEN Senior Director
Dr Thio has a distinguished and unrivalled professional history, having been the first female Dean of the Law Faculty at the National University of Singapore, a Senior Partner at a top-tier firm in Singapore, and having held Judgeships in the administrative tribunals of the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank for several terms. Dr Thio was a pioneer in the legal profession, counting several of Singapore's top judges and legal professionals among her students. She made her reputation principally in the area of banking and finance, incorporating structured finance and securitizations.
Dr Thio founded TSMP Law Corporation in 1998.

PROFESSOR TAN CHENG HAN, SC Consultant
Professor Tan Cheng Han, SC is currently the Dean of the Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore. He has been a Visiting Professor at Peking University and the East China University of Politics and Law, and a Consultant and Instructor to the John F Kennedy School of Government's Vietnam Programme.
Prior to joining NUS in 1996, he was a Partner in one of the largest local litigation firms in Singapore. As an advocate, he specialises in commercial disputes. He is also a member of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre's Regional Panel of Arbitrators. He was appointed Senior Counsel in 2004 and in August 2006 he was appointed a Specialist Judge.

GEORGE TAN Senior Director
George has been at the forefront of the construction legal and arbitration industry for over 20 years. He is the author and co-author of numerous publications, including Construction Law in Singapore and Malaysia (2nd Edition), and the volume on Construction Law, Halsbury Laws of Singapore.
George's involvement in the construction legal and arbitration industry includes acting as counsel and arbitrator for the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, Singapore Institute of Architects, International Chamber of Commerce and in UNCITRAL arbitrations. He is a member of the Dispute and Compensation Resolution Panel, National Electricity Market of Singapore and an Approved Adjudicator of the Singapore Mediation Centre. He is also an adjunct Associate Professor for the joint King's College-NUS MSc Programme in Construction Law and Arbitration.
