PROF TANG HANG WU, PHD
L.L.M (CAMBRIDGE) LLB (NUS)
Prof Tang Hang Wu has a resume that’s near impossible to summarise. He studied law in Singapore and Cambridge, winning prizes for academic excellence, as well as topping his Cambridge LLM class. Today, he is a Professor at Singapore Management University’s School of Law, focusing on the law of property, equity, trusts and restitution. Published widely, Hang Wu has been cited numerous times in leading works. In addition, his work on equity and trusts has been relied on internationally. Hang Wu is also a co-editor of the 3rd edition of Tan Sook Yee's Principles of Singapore Land Law, and as if that wasn’t enough, was recently made an overseas member of the Chancery Bar Association of England and Wales in recognition of his expertise in Chancery work. That was a mouthful.
