Because all the talk about corporate social responsibility doesn't really count unless we put our money where our mouth is; and because ultimately, even though we complain bitterly about professional fees coming down, making money is still one of those things lawyers seem to have a knack for, we have made a commitment to donate a portion of our partnership profits every year to charitable causes we believe in.
Our charitable giving focuses in 3 key areas: children, the elderly and foreign workers in Singapore. We try to support the needy both in Singapore as well as in neighbouring countries.
In addition to our charitable donations, in line with our firm's (and firm) philosophy that we should all give back, all our lawyers pledge to provide a minimum of 25 hours of corporate social responsibility service each year.
Some of the charities we support are:

• Action for Aids • Boys' Town • Children's Cancer • Foundation • CHIJ Orphanage • Club Rainbow • Melrose Home • Operation Smile • Singapore • MINDS (Movement for • the Intellectually Disabled • of Singapore) |
