There are many people who cannot afford lawyers, but have real needs that would benefit from legal advice. Providing pro bono legal services and representation is an immediate and effective way for us to give back to the community.
Our firm actively supports the Singapore Law Society's Community Legal Clinics, where we are committed to helming monthly free legal clinics at community venues, and the HELP centre at the Singapore Subordinate Courts, where we provide free legal advice to litigants-in-person Some of our more senior lawyers also volunteer under the Small Claims Tribunal Ad-Hoc Referee Scheme.
In addition, we believe that as Singaporeans, we owe a debt of gratitude to our domestic workers, without whom, we would not be able to pursue our career goals or achieve as much as we have in financial terms. Foreign
workers are severely disadvantaged when it comes to dealing with their legal rights and our pro bono work encompasses giving free legal advice and representation to worthy cases. To this end, we work with HOME (Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics) and TWC2 (Transient Workers Count Too), charities dedicated to the migrant worker community in Singapore.
