“Whatever is worth doing at all, is worth doing well.”
Chin Wi is a familiar face in mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law, with an impressive background in these practices. Previously a corporate partner in a local firm, Chin Wi has advised on a wide spectrum of transactions including public takeovers and “take privates”, equity capital market deals as well as general corporate transactions. Spending time in two other in-house stints has given Chin Wi a holistic perspective of the entire deal process, making him a truly valuable asset when it comes to complex transactions.
All great lawyers are first great listeners, and Chin Wi is no exception, spending his spare time building speakers from scratch or restoring vintage FM tuners. He also values time, applying the same passion he has for audio equipment to his watches. Of course, this meticulous listening and respect for time is mirrored in his flawless transactions.
Outside of the office and the workshop, Chin Wi sits as a council member at the Bukit Timah Seu Teck Sean Tong temple, overseeing its community efforts, finances, fundraising and operations, including in relation to its free public medical clinics.
