We typically start offering retention two months into the training contract. Trainees may also take up to 14 days of leave with the prior approval of the firm. We offer a market leading starting salary upon call, with Part B course fees reimbursed for lawyers employed for a minimum tenure of one year with the Firm.
Pro Bono and Continuing Legal Education
The Firm believes in actively contributing back to society. Our lawyers are required to fulfil a minimum of 25 pro bono hours per year, and the Firm plans for at least two outreach events a year with a focus on three groups of beneficiaries, namely: children and youth at risk; the elderly; and migrant workers.
Lawyers are also rostered for regular legal clinics, with the opportunity to interact with the community and assist with their legal issues.
A lawyer is only as good as his or her training and experiences. This is why we place great emphasis on our comprehensive Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programme, conducted by Partners and senior lawyers for our Practice Trainees and Associates.
