Specialising in general banking, financing, security and corporate matters, Ernest’s experience includes advising and acting on domestic and cross-border transactions. These range from banking and debt-related transactions such as credit facilities, bilateral and syndicated loans and property/asset financing, to corporate reorganisations and M&A transactions.
With a solid grasp of legal complexities and a dogged determination to achieve results, Ernest has effectively managed various complex transactions, establishing himself as a dependable and skilled legal professional to his clients.
He acts for a wide range of clients including local and foreign banks, large corporations, financial institutions, real estate investment trusts as well as SGX-listed companies. His clients come from a wide range of industries and include funds, property and asset management companies and multinational corporations.
When he is not looking for space at home to house his Lego collection, Ernest enjoys exploring new artists and films on last.fm and Letterboxd. He can be found on weekends volunteering in the Geylang Serai estate, and his dedication to pro bono work sees him providing corporate secretarial services to charities such as Boys’ Town.
