"You can't ever reach perfection, but you can believe in an asymptote toward which you are ceaselessly striving."
– Paul Kalanithi
Since being called to the Singapore Bar in 2019, Heather has built a solid track record of working in cross-jurisdiction, multi-million and billion dollar deals, with experience in industries ranging from shipping to healthcare.
Clients appreciate her considered advice and determination to see deals through while working across time zones; colleagues respect her quiet diligence and attention to detail.
As a corporate lawyer, she specialises in banking and finance, mergers and acquisitions, and also handles general corporate advisory work. Justifying the hours she devotes to her clients' needs, she lives by Kobe Bryant's words: "Confidence comes from preparation".
Heather's ideal weekends involve pilates, audiobooks played on 2x speed, good food, and then attempting to make her own (improved) versions at home. Heather is actively involved in the firm’s pro bono activities, believing that it is a lawyer’s purpose to serve the community at large.
