In a news article published in the Straits Times on 5 July 2019 on Singapore abstaining from voting on a landmark pact that aims to combat harassment and violence in the workplace was adopted by the International Labour Organisation, Ian Lim said that upcoming amendments to Poha that were passed in May might be able to address some existing gaps. For example, the new Protection from Harassment Courts will be able to grant protection orders to victims more quickly, he added.
