Joshua Phang mentioned in The Straits Times: “Jail, caning for ‘father figure’ who raped girl after she fell victim to stepfather”
Joshua Phang was mentioned in The Straits Times, The New Paper (syndicated) and AsiaOne (syndicated) by Christine Tan, on his pro bono case. He defended a man who was sentenced to 10 years’ jail and 10 strokes of the cane for raping his girlfriend’s 13-year-old daughter.
The case was also covered by Lydia Lam in Channel Newsasia, where Joshua was noted as defence lawyer without mentioning TSMP.
