Thio Shen Yi commented in BT: “End of the road for Hyflux board as court appoints interim judicial managers”
TSMP joint managing partner Thio Shen Yi SC was quoted in a 17 November 2020 Business Times article on the appointment of interim judicial managers for Hyflux, which ended the embattled water treatment company’s two year long debt moratorium.
He said that having independent professionals “will help restore the trust deficit and allow genuine progress”.
“Though SGI has said it will not continue with its Hyflux-rescue plans if Hyflux enters judicial management, that may not be immutable,” he added.
