Joining TSMP Law Corporation in 2022 as an Associate, Joshua quickly distinguished himself as a formidable advocate in complex disputes. Clients have borne witness to his deep legal knowledge and elegant, persuasive delivery—an approach that makes him a true heavy-hitter in the field of dispute resolution.
In Joshua’s time in practice, he has advised and acted for states, state-owned entities and/or investors in respect of investment treaty arbitrations and court-related proceedings, as well as in multi-billion dollar disputes. Joshua has also provided counsel on issues such as cross-border regulatory investigations and defamation disputes, including representing senior political figures.
An active member of the legal community, Joshua serves on the Advisory Board of the Institute of Transnational Arbitration and has contributed extensively to arbitration scholarship. His published works include co-authoring influential reports and articles on arbitration procedure, natural justice, and regulatory frameworks. He has also demonstrated commitment to legal education and community involvement, volunteering with the Criminal Legal Aid Scheme and other pro bono initiatives, including leading projects such as a clothing donation drive for migrant workers.
Joshua has been recognised as one of Singapore’s Top 20 Most Notable Lawyers Under 40 by Singapore Business Review in 2025.
