Stefanie Yuen Thio was quoted in The Straits Times by Theresa Tan.
The article highlighted how more victims are turning to the court to stop harassment such as cyber bullying and doxxing (p. A11 and A12). Stefanie was quoted in her capacity as the founder of SHE, sharing her comments on how image-based sexual abuse is a common form of harassment.
Stefanie also commented that based on past experiences with clients, victims often find their trauma being reinscribed by having to continually recount their experience, and amplified by their not knowing what to expect or do next.
