Adrian Tan quoted in ST: “Two new compulsory modules for NUS law freshmen, more attention on field of tech in law”
On 04 May 2022, TSMP Law Corporation head of IP & TMT and Law Society President Adrian Tan was quoted in a Straits Times article on the two new compulsory modules for NUS law freshmen, a law and technology module and a data literacy module.
He said it is timely that universities have begun to include tech modules in their law courses. “Future batches of Singapore lawyers who are equipped to handle complex legal-technology issues are sorely needed by the nation,” he said.
He added “There is a growing demand for tech-savvy lawyers who can understand and advise on new areas of law and business.”
