Adrian Tan’s Tong Garden case win reported in the ST and LHZB
Head of IP and TMT Adrian Tan and his team successfully defended a shareholder of the Tong Gardens group of companies, Ong Teck Chuan, in a dispute with another shareholder, Ong Heng Chuan. The shareholders are siblings.
The judge dismissed Ong Heng Chuan’s claim of unfair prejudice. Commenting on the outcome through his lawyer Adrian Tan from TSMP Law Corporation, our client said he was grateful to be vindicated. “My aim has always been to preserve my father’s good name,” he said. He added that he hoped the brothers can bury their differences and work towards family unity.
