In a MediaCorp Channel 8 news segment aired on 11 April 2019 about the new tripartite wrongful dismissal guidelines, Felicia Tan explained whether constructive dismissal falls within the ambit of the guidelines. Can an employee bring a claim in the Employment Claims Tribunal or the courts if he/she has been made to feel compelled to resign? Short answer: quite often, yes.
