TSMP Law Corporation Head of Litigation Melvin Chan was asked to comment in a South China Morning Post story published on 24 April 2020 on why record low oil prices doesn’t bode well for Southeast Asia’s economies.
He said: “This time around, you’re having problems on both the supply and demand sides. The oil producers don’t seem to be playing ball, while air travel is dead, shipping has gone down. It’s a double whammy.”
