Stefanie Yuen Thio comments in BT: “CGAC: did MAS cast net wide enough?”

In a followup commentary published on 14 February 2019 by the Business Times on the 18-member Corporate Governance Advisory Committee unveiled on two days before, Stefanie Yuen Thio was quoted: “The inaugural CGAC is clearly made up of industry folks with a wealth of experience. Notably, trusted henchmen of Singapore Inc are not in short supply.”
The introduction of a permanent, industry-led body responsible for levelling up corporate governance standards and practices here was one of the recommendations that came out of the Corporate Governance Council to review the Code of Corporate Governance in 2017. Stefanie Yuen Thio served on that council.
