Stefanie Yuen Thio quoted in The Business Times: Anti-money laundering bust that seized S$1 billion could be ‘tip of the iceberg’

Stefanie was quoted by Megan Cheah in The Business Times, in her article on Singapore’s recent large-scale anti-money laundering bust (p. 1 and 2).
The article included Stef’s comments that Singapore’s status as a major financial hub meant that criminal networks would try to take advantage of that, and that such a bust surfacing also indicated that Singapore’s Suspicious Transaction Reporting system appears to be working.
