Stefanie Yuen Thio was interviewed by Theresa Tan in The Straits Times, in an article on the marital rape law and why such cases are still under-reported.
Stefanie was quoted in her capacity as the chairwoman of SG Her Empowerment (SHE), noting that marital rape is a deeply complex and emotionally charged issue, and that a woman may feel humiliated to have to report the case.
