Stefanie was quoted in Lianhe Zaobao by Poh Lay Hoon, in her article on the Sentence for Enhanced Public Protection (SEPP) and the new forensic medical examination framework (p.11).

The article included similar comments that Stefanie provided to The Straits Times (above). It added that evidence gathered from Forensic Medical Examinations (FME) can also be useful in solving cold cases, such as unidentified DNA found at the scene that matches suspects who were later arrested. This would bring the perpetrator to justice and provide much needed closure to the victim and their loved ones. If there are more DNA samples collected and the government has this in its database, DNA evidence from unsolved cases could also be compared against the database and hopefully more perpetrators will be brought to justice.

Apart from her capacity as Joint managing partner of TSMP, Lay Hoon also mentioned that Stefanie is the founder of SG Her Empowerment (SHE).
