TSMP is pleased to announce that it successfully represented six BVI/Panamanian/Singapore companies in their appeal in a mega trust lawsuit that involved one of Australia’s richest families. One of the directors, Ernest De La Sala, was found to have wrongfully and in breach of his fiduciary duties, transferred US$600 million from the Companies’ bank accounts to his personal account. The Court of Appeal ordered Ernest De La Sala to account for and return the money to the Companies, closing a chapter in a case that has been ongoing since 2011. https://www.supremecourt.gov.sg/news/case-summaries/ernest-ferdinand-perez-de-la-sala-v-compaia-de-navegacin-palomar–sa-and-others-and-other-appeals
