Jennifer Chia quoted in Bloomberg: “Singapore’s Rising Rents Have Lonely Expats Turning to Co-Living”

TSMP Law Corporation head of corporate real estate Jennifer Chia was quoted in a 14 September 2021 Bloomberg article that notes that expats are increasingly turning to co-living spaces.
She said there are a range of handicaps to a large-scale expansion of the sector. “Having a reliable supply of long-term rental space situated close to locations popular with young urbanites will be a challenge”.
“But first, we need to get out of the doldrums that Covid has brought about” she added.
