Stefanie Yuen Thio commented in LHZB: “金管局开罚1500万元定罪九人; 一年半内向违例机构与个人”

TSMP joint managing partner Stefanie Yuen Thio was quoted in a 5 November 2020 Lianhe Zaobao article on the MAS Enforcement Report, which updates the market on enforcement matters in the financial markets. 

She praised the shortened investigation time: “That indicates quicker action by the authorities which is good for building public confidence in Singapore as a market.”

With regards to concerns about the drawn out investigations on high profile cases such as Noble, she said: “I can understand the market’s concerns with a long investigation process but it’s also important to balance this against the integrity and completeness of the investigation process.”
