And if you have received an email from someone purportedly representing TSMP Law Corporation, from an address that does not end with @tsmplaw.com or @tsmp.com.sg, kindly do not respond or click on any attachments. Please forward the email as an attachment, containing all the headers, to webmaster@tsmplaw.com so that we can take follow up action. After which, please delete the email. Stefanie Yuen Thio comments in ST: “Short-term home rentals thriving at People’s Park Centre”
In an investigative story published in the Sunday Times on 26 May 2019 on how Airbnb-style home rentals are still going on despite the URA having decided not to allow the practice, Stefanie Yuen Thio said: “I suspect the authorities have been exercising the ‘light touch’ on enforcement pending their review. However, given the high percentage of people polled who are concerned with safety and security, I’m sure they will now shine a torch on those properties they suspect are being let out on short-term stays.”
