Stefanie Yuen Thio quoted in Bloomberg: “Singapore Corporate Scandals Spur Push for More Transparency”
On 09 March 2021, TSMP Law Corporation joint managing partner Stefanie Yuen Thio’s was quoted in a Bloomberg article on corporate scandals spurring a push for more transparency in Singapore.
She said “The new rules catch outliers—where the auditors with less expertise or standing are appointed.”
But the scandals also seem to have caught major accounting firms off guard, she added.
