Inside TSMP’s Marsiling Outreach: A Day of Cleaning, Caring and Community
Just three months after its first Handprint initiative of the year, TSMP Law Corporation returned to give back to the community — this time by refreshing and cleaning the homes of seniors in Marsiling Drive.

Inviting a stranger into your home can be nerve-racking. Now imagine opening your doors to seven of them in one day. That was the experience of 15 elderly households living in one-room rental units in Marsiling Drive on 29 August, when the entire staff team of TSMP Law Corporation visited as part of the firm’s annual Handprint community service initiative.
Partnering with Blossom World Society and Sunlove, TSMP spent the day providing meaningful support to low-income seniors. The goal was simple yet impactful: to help clean and refresh their homes, while creating moments of connection. The initiative formed part of Blossom World Society’s Blossom Home Refresh programme, which began in 2017.
Before setting off for the home visits, the TSMP team hosted a lively brunch at the estate’s Active Ageing Centre. A crowd favourite was the roti prata live station, which delighted both beneficiaries and staff. The morning also featured singalongs of nostalgic classics, with partner Leon Lim and associate Ryan Sim performing Mandarin oldies and Kit Chan’s Home, while director Raeza Ibrahim led a trainee medley that included Happy Together by The Turtles. A Zumba session led by our lawyers got everyone moving – a spirited celebration of community before the cleaning began.
To avoid cluttering already compact homes, beneficiaries were invited in advance to select a household appliance they needed. Items such as vacuum cleaners and fans were then gifted to them on the day. Each household also received grocery vouchers for their nearby supermarket.
Many beneficiaries went out of their way to express their appreciation — offering snacks, drinks, and food, and showering the team with warm words and blessings.
Jannie Lim, Director of Blossom World Society, shared: “Marsiling holds a special place in our hearts as one of the first estates we served when Blossom Home Refresh was launched. The programme was born from our mission to help the next generation gain a deeper embodiment and expression of positive social values.”
This marks TSMP’s second Handprint initiative this year. In May, the firm hosted 46 at-risk foreign domestic workers for a legal awareness talk and a day out at Gardens by the Bay.
Whether offering legal advice or lending a helping hand, TSMP believes that service is part of leadership. The Handprint project reflects the firm’s ongoing commitment to building a kinder, more connected community.
