Stefanie Yuen Thio appears in Her World’s commemorative October issue marking the magazine’s 65th anniversary, alongside leaders in business, humanitarian work and civil society. Fellow contributors include former President Halimah Yacob; Caecilia Chu, co-founder and CEO of YouTrip; Dr June Goh, philanthropist and senior consultant at Singapore General Hospital; and Trina Liang-Lin, managing director of Templebridge Investments and past president of the Singapore Committee for UN Women. Each penned a message for the issue.

Stefanie highlighted her experience founding SG Her Empowerment (SHE) and how it mirrors the magazine’s evolution into a platform championing women and spotlighting causes. She wrote: “Growing up, Her World was my teenage handbook for beauty tips and fashion trends. I love that it’s evolved to champion women and spotlight causes—much like my own journey from pimply teen to purpose-driven grown-up. I’ve spent two decades in charity work and, three years ago, founded SG Her Empowerment (SHE), a non-profit that equips and empowers the everyday Singapore woman.”
